About

Cassandra Clark, a native of Laurel, Mississippi, is an illustrator who enjoys living quietly and working with her hands. You can often find her in a large-windowed studio, sketching out and imagining her next project. In 2011, Cassandra graduated with her B.A. in Visual Arts. From there, she moved home to Laurel, Mississippi, to teach art classes and to draw the historic downtown neighborhood where she grew up. It was then that her studio was born.

After moving to Louisville, Kentucky, in 2013, she was commissioned by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Covenant Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, The Gathering, Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, Reformation Heritage Books, Shepherd Press, and Jonathan Shull Design for various illustration projects. In 2019, she moved to Connecticut and continued her business and publication projects there. Eventually, life led her little family of 3 (#4 on the way) back to the little town of Laurel. Currently, her work is being sold at the Laurel Mercantile shop (laurelmercantile.com), in correlation with the HGTV show “Home Town.” Her work has also been shown in magazines affiliated with Condé Nast, like House & Garden UK and World of Interiors. Her biggest accomplishment to-date is illustrating the children’s storybook Bible written by Jeremy Pierre, entitled God With Us: A Journey Home (available for purchase on Amazon). Cassandra continues to work on various publications, as well as keeping up more private commissioned projects.
